Parking Citation payments may be made in person at City Hall, or by mail.

Pay in Person

Pay in person at the Customer Services Counter at City Hall, Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Pay by Mail

To send payment by U.S. Mail, please make check payable to the City of Simi Valley and mail it to the address below. Please be sure to write the citation number on the face of the check to reference the citation.

Contest a Citation

If you wish to contest a citation, please follow these two steps:

  1. Print and complete the Parking Citation Administrative Review Form.
  2. Mail the completed form to the City of Simi Valley at the above referenced address.

You must contest your citation within 21 calendar days of the date the citation was issued. A Police Department staff member will review the circumstances surrounding the citation and determine your liability. The Administrative Review findings will include information about how to appeal the decision of the Administrative Review to a higher level.

Change of Address

The law requires you to keep your address with the DMV current. If you move to a new address, it must be provided to the DMV within ten (10) days. If you fail to notify DMV about your change of address--and reminder notices were sent to your previous address—you will be responsible for any late fees added to your citation.
