Capital Projects provides project engineering for improvements and rehabilitation of the City's streets and drainage facilities. Those facilities in need of improvement or rehabilitation are identified jointly by the City's Maintenance Services, Traffic Engineering, and City Engineering Divisions.

The Capital Projects Section activities involve planning, design, and construction management of improvements of the City's street pavement, curb and gutter, sidewalk, storm drain, and miscellaneous surface drainage facilities.
