Affordable Housing Database

In accordance with State of California Law, the City must, as successor agency to the former Redevelopment Agency, compile and maintain a database of affordable rental or owner-occupied housing units developed or assisted with the agency’s Low- and Moderate-Income Housing Fund.

The database must provide specific information on existing, new, and substantially rehabilitated rental or owner-occupied housing units developed or assisted with moneys from the agency’s Low- and Moderate-Income Housing Fund. Please be aware that most of the listed units are occupied.

Housing Successor Agency Reports (SB 341)

Housing activities are largely funded by the City's Successor Housing Agency (SHA). Senate Bill 341 (SB 341) requires each housing successor agency that assumed the housing functions of a former redevelopment agency to post a report on its website containing information regarding the Low and Moderate-Income Housing Asset Fund (LMIHAF) of the former redevelopment agency for the previous fiscal year.

The City of Simi Valley is acting as the Housing Successor to the Simi Valley Community Development Agency and has prepared the SB 341 Reports with corresponding audited financials for the following Fiscal Years (FY).
